Graphical navigation is used by most sites, but they have
their navigation hidden inside images which makes their site more
aesthetically pleasing and a better user experience.
This is what users are looking for. However, Google,
Yahoo and MSN require text navigation structures to spider your web
site. This problem is rectified by creating 2 sets of navigation 1 for
search engines and the other for the users.
Flat text navigation can be placed at the top, bottom ,
or anywhere else on your pages for that matter as long as it's
unobtrusive and helpful to the users.
When writing your text navigation use the keywords you
found during your keyword research and use them frequently.
